Highlights: Although capsicums go through several colours as they ripen from green through yellow to red, organic orange capsicums or ‘oranje paprika’ are special in Holland where the first organge bell peppers of the season are offered to the Royal House of Orange to celebrate the Dutch national colour.

Like other capsicum, they are rich in vitamin C, lutein and zeaxanthin and make a great contribution to the diet in the form of healthy fibre.
