Melrose Organic Avocado Oil is cold pressed from the flesh of the avocado fruit. It is very similar to olive oil, the key reason being that Avocado Oil is very rich in monounsaturated fatty acids and extremely low in saturated fat. It also contains no cholesterol. With a milk nutty flavour, Avocado Oil is a tasty and healthy choice for salad dressing bases and oil marinades. Avocado Oil mustn’t be heated as heating will damage the oil and bitter flavours will develop. Pressed Avocado Oil readily penetrates the skin and its extremely high vitamin and mineral content nourishes the skin.
