Packed full of antioxidants including vitamin C, carotenoids and flavonoids which reduce inflammation and soothe the nervous system, celery offers protection to the complete digestive tract. It contains both soluble and insoluble fibre and a pectic polysaccharide called apiuman which has been shown to help heal stomach ulcers, modulate stomach secretions and improve overall stomach health.
