Highlights: This Virgin coconut oil is the first cold-pressed oil extracted from the coconuts and is considered raw, as temperature in the pressing does not exceed 49°C. The pressing is the only processing, so the oil is unrefined and retains the fresh coconut taste and aroma.

The oil contains ~62% medium chain fatty acids which are easy for the body to absorb. They are metabolised in the liver and provide a fast source of energy for the brain and muscles, benefitting athletes in particular. The oil also thought to speed up metabolism. 50% of the oil is Lauric acid a component of human breast milk which nourishes the body and is anti-bacterial, anti-viral and anti-fungal.
